I'm currently an Associate at Hawkins\Brown Architects, based in London.  I joined the Studio in 2003 after finishing my studies at the University of Sheffield.  In my architectural work I've always been interested in visualisation and image making.  Photography compliments this well and has given me a greater appreciation for how to compose an image.

 

Currently I'm using a Canon 600D with a Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM UD Wide Angle Zoom Lens which is versatile and great for most everyday shots. I also have a Tamron SP 70-300mm lens for wildlife shots. For low light, night or sharper photography it's worth investing in a decent tripod.  

 

I now tend to shoot in RAW format because of the creative control it gives me when post editing the images. Don't underestimate the difference this can make - even simple adjustments can significantly enhance an image so it's worth spending the time.
